How long does it take for you to present us with CV’s?
The time it takes to present CV’s will vary from client to client and depends upon the level of filtering activity you require. Typically, the average response times for permanent vacancies are 3 to 5 days.
How do you charge for the introduction of permanent staff?
We only charge you if we succeed in placing a candidate with your organisation. The introduction fee applied is calculated as a percentage of the basic salary. The numeric % value varies in line with the level of service required. Discounts are awarded to those clients who use Megaverse Recruitment on a preferential basis. Additional discounts are awarded for volume usage. A copy of our standard terms of business is available on request.
What happens if the employee leaves after we have paid our fee?
Megaverse Recruitment offers a generous rebate structure that covers the initial 12-week period from the candidates start date. The rebate structure will form part of your contract with Megaverse Recruitment and will be discussed at the onset of the relationship.

How do I register with you ?
Simply send your CV via email or alternatively register and upload your CV via the website and we will respond to you by telephone if there is an immediate opportunity. You will always receive an e-mail confirming that your CV has been received even if a suitable opportunity is not currently available.
What is the Video Resume ?
We are one of the few sites that allow you to post your video resume or a link to your YouTube video link. It often speeds up the recruitment process and allows candidates to express themselves further because it is a unique tool in addition to the standard CV.
Will my current employer find out I am looking for a new job?
No. Our dealings with you are entirely confidential. We discuss any relevant opportunities with you before sending your CV forward to any potential employers.

What happens once I have sent my CV in response to an advert?
The procedure is straightforward. A Megaverse Recruitment consultant will contact you by telephone at a time that is convenient for you. They will discuss with you the relevant vacancy and establish how well it is matched to your aspirations, qualifications, and skill set. You may also be asked to complete an online technical test, participate in a short telephone interview, or attend our virtual office for an informal interview to progress with your application. Your CV is then forwarded to our client and interviews are arranged as appropriate. All candidates are asked to provide references at this stage. Our recruitment team will ensure that you are prepared for each stage of the recruitment process.
Can you give me help with my interview technique?
Yes, all our consultants are fully trained in counselling candidates through the recruitment process and examples of common interview questions and answers will be provided to you.
How do I know if I meet the job posting criteria?
Both education and work experience requirements for all positions are stated within the postings. Please take a moment to analyse the specific requirements of each job against your own qualifications to determine whether you meet these requirements before submitting your resume.
What if I don’t like the sound of a job when I’ve had an interview?
There is no pressure for you to accept any job that may be offered to you. An interview is a two-way process allowing both the interviewer and interviewee the opportunity to get to know each other. We will contact you following the interview to see how it went and give you feedback from the client. If you decide a position isn’t right for you, or you have any queries or concerns, then we can advise on the most appropriate course of action. Our main concern is to provide the right solution for everyone.
Will I know who you send my CV to?
As a matter of courtesy, Megaverse Recruitment will always ask your permission before sending a copy of your CV to clients. Only if we feel a vacancy is suitable for you will we forward your CV.
How long does it take to find a placement?
Every candidate and their circumstances are different, so the time frame varies. We try to place you somewhere that suits yourself and the client but more importantly where you will enjoy working.
How will I be kept informed of suitable job opportunities?
When you register with Megaverse Recruitment, your consultant will spend time establishing your key priorities and the type of permanent or temporary role you’re looking for. They will discuss suitable open vacancies with you at this time and thereafter call or e-mail you (according to your preference) with additional opportunities. We’ll explore every avenue available to us to find you a suitable position within your timescales. As we’ll be working actively on your behalf, it’s important that you stay in regular contact to inform us if your circumstances, availability, or priorities have changed.
What information do I need to provide?
A copy of your current CV and a covering letter is always useful. Providing details of your availability for interviews and date you can commence a new role would be very helpful A video of you narrating your experience and skills is also a great tool to support your application.
